A little about my approach

I prefer to focus on treatment, not just talk. I have a genuine passion for working with individuals from all backgrounds who are keen to make changes in their life, or to better manage or understand their mental health.

I am comfortable using and hearing colourful (real) language and appropriate humour in our appointments.

I have a particular interest in treating anxiety and OCD, relationship difficulties, guilt/shame, and depression.

My personal interests include tinkering with classic cars, running my small hobby farm, and spending time with my family.

Bonnie. She's the best.

My Credentials

I have over 15 years experience working across multiple mental health domains, from psychosocial support programs through to acute psychiatric assessment and treatment. I am certified in the delivery of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Grief and Loss Counselling & other evidence-based approaches. I graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Social Work with First Class Honours, before completing a two year post-graduate rotation in psychiatric services. I then went on to complete my accreditation in mental health.
